Job Details:
Angel Fire Resort is seeking friendly, welcoming, guest service minded individuals to work in the Hotel Department at the Lodge and RV Resort providing guests with the highest level of customer service. This position encompasses all aspects of the Hospitality Industry and will provide excellent training to the right candidate who is looking to grow in this field.
To be successful in this position you will:
  • Make impacts by consistently demonstrating initiative, a determination to stay busy, and a willingness to do whatever needs to be done including Front Desk, Housekeeping, Maintenance, Landscaping
  • Masters all information regarding the Resort to give guests the information needed for a positive lodging experience
  • Treats guests with a combination of friendliness, respect and professionalism that tells them we are a resort dedicated to service
  • Masters the Front Desk Operation regarding Check-Ins, Reservations, and POS system.
  • Helps us maintain an incredibly high standard of clean, organized, spotless, trash free, lodging environment

Base Pay: $15 per hour depending on experience

Attendance: Regular, predictable, punctual, flexible, and in-person attendance is essential, includes weekends and holidays
Environment: This is an indoor and outdoor position. Must be able to stand/walk for entire shift and regularly lift/carry 50lbs. This is a do-whatever-it-takes job that requires the ability to work in varied environments
Minimum Age: 18
Estimated start date: Variety of start dates available from now through the upcoming season.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Greets, registers, and assigns rooms/sites to guests and make reservations
  • Transmits and receives telephone messages.
  • Computes bill, collects payment, and makes change for guests.
  • Housekeeping duties including: making beds, laundry, vacuuming, dusting, cleaning bathrooms, washing windows, removing trash, light maintenance and groundskeeping, and other tasks as they relate to Hotel/RV Resort operations.
  • Other associated tasks and duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  • No experience necessary, all training will be provided
  • A flexible scheduled is required as shifts will include daytime, evening, and some night shifts.
Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Valid driver’s license with driving record insurable under the resort insurance.
Housing: Limited employee housing is available upon request. Employee housing is “dorm-style” and starts at $450/month. A list of local rental resources is available upon request.
